About Me
My Story
I am a licensed esthetician with 25 years of experience and a long-time passion for everything eyebrows. My career in skincare has been a journey that has taken me through the salon, spa, and medical environments before becoming an entrepreneur in 2016, a digital course creator in 2024, and I’ve never looked back.
In September 2023, I underwent brain surgery for the removal of a brain tumor. This life-altering and most challenging experience was a success, bringing about the greatest shift in my life and reshaping my perspective on what truly matters. It made me realize how precious life is and the profound importance of human connection. While I was out recovering, I discovered that what I missed the most wasn't just doing eyebrows, but the interactions with my amazing clients and dedicated employees.
This experience has deepened my appreciation for my work and has reinforced my commitment to providing meaningful and personalized care. I now approach each day with greater presence and purpose, valuing every moment with my clients. It is extremely important to me that my client interactions be warm, compassionate, fun, and memorable. I no longer sweat the small stuff and focus on being fully present during each appointment, which has enhanced both my clients' experience and my own.
I have trained with Kelley Baker, the premier celebrity eyebrow artist based in California, and I regularly attend continuing education courses and trainings. I am the proud recipient of the 2017, 2018, and 2019 Best in Bergen award for eyebrow shaping, and Bergen Mama's Best of Beauty for best waxing salon. Additionally, I was a runner-up for Best Waxing in 201 Magazine's 2019 and 2023 Best of Bergen Issue!
I am insured by and am a proud member of Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP).
At my studio, we specialize in elite eyebrow shaping, as well as offering comprehensive lash and skincare services. My goal is to help clients achieve their best selves by enhancing their natural beauty and boosting their confidence.
Looking ahead, I am excited to expand my career by adding new elements such as a blog and even a podcast. These platforms will allow me to share my journey, insights, and expertise with a wider audience, helping more people in their beauty and personal growth journeys. I am passionate about supporting other estheticians and sharing my experiences in both the esthetics and brain tumor/craniotomy worlds. These experiences are integral to who I am, and I am committed to making a positive impact in both communities.
